The Mirror Lake Murders

Discovered the corpses of 4 men and one man on the shore of Mirror Lake during the early afternoon. The bodies exhibited signs of multiple stabbings. Two were missing fingers, maybe where rings had been. Several bodies had portions missing. The bodies were removed to the Cathedral mortuary and are pending inspection by forensics.
I returned to the crime scene with detective Konstia. Konstia made casts of a set of foot prints found near the bodies and that seemed to have dragged the bodies from the nearby cottage. The foot prints are consistent to those of a barefoot female night elf. This ruled out the Defias as culprits since they do not admit elves into the Brotherhood.
We inspected the lake cottage and it became plainly obvious that it had been the place where the victims had been killed. The floor and walls were covered in blood pools and splatter.
Corporal Volke had detained a barefoot female elf the night before. The elf, Kathetia Silverwing, was covered in blood, which she claimed was from her husband’s reagent stash. Her husband, Hukari Hakkan, is a known witch doctor and claimed that his wife had an addiction to the blood. Since no bodies had turned up, we released Kathetia to her husband.
The foot print cast together with the fact that Kathetia had been found barefoot and covered in blood shortly after the approximate time of the murders made Kathetia a person of interest in this investigation.
Detective Konstia and I went to Kathetia’s known domicile to bring her in for questioning. According to Meris, also residing at the same house, Kathetia had left a note saying she had gone out for a few.
Barnabus, of our legal office, is seeking a search warrant for Kathetia’s domicile.
