Tapestry of Fate Series

--by Gospel Lightfaith

The Tapestry of Fate series is the joint venture of Gospel Lightfaith and Corran Ravencrest. It is a backstory series for both characters originally begun in August 2008. Set during the events of the Third War (Warcraft III), it details the events of Gospel's initiation into the Knights of the Silver Hand just prior to its dissolution as well as the personal growth of Corran, a man both ravaged and haunted by a lifetime spent in war.

Also cameo'ing in this backstory are several characters Gospel has met in her current-day roleplay. This story, on many levels, aspires to show how everyone in our lives is part of a tapestry of events. Even though we may not remember them, we may have met someone who's thread eventually impacts our lives far more than we could have imagined.

Acknowledgements[]

First and foremost, it is necessary to thank Corran Ravencrest, without whom this project would have been a lot more difficult to accomplish. Without his inspiration, I may never have bothered to write a story of this proportion.

I would also like to thank Veras for help on Lore and other minor details that I was unable to uncover on my own.

Praise for "Tapestry"[]

I really like reading this. Thank you for posting it! :D

Off to a good start, Gospel! The introduction of your character went smoothly, though I am curious to know a bit more about her background. Grammatically sound for the most part, too. Keep at it, let's see where this takes Lina!
- Quixos of Skywall

I agree with Quixos. Well-written and I'd love to see more! :D As it progresses I'll start to add contructive criticism, but I'm sick, tired, and need some sleep. Can't wait for the next part!
- Zulazza of Scilla

Insofar, I have quite enjoyed reading this. The imagery throughout comes through like a vivid watercolour painting, making you feel how serene and within the grace of the Light the character is. Looking forward to more. :)
