I love this idea. However, not everyone smokes! How can non-smoking characters remain involved without participating in the main event? IC aversion to smoke is, unfortunately, too realistic of a possibility as well. Nerit 22:16, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
- Yah, I'm not sure how to handle IC aversion to smoke. Planes and restaurants and clubs 50 years ago were pretty smoky and they worked, so maybe go down the 'I'm not crazy about smoke but I can tolerate it to be social' route?
- For non-smokers, there will be non-smoke tobacco products and, of course, non-tobacco offerings (drinks at least?), not to mention any gaming activities. My hope is that folks will view it as a social club as much as anything else, where they can catch up on news, brag a bit about exploits, etc.
- Also, might be fun to be a complaining passerby about the noise, smoke or foot traffic. Or looking for a friend? Looking to squeeze some protection money out of the new tenants? Just tossing out some ideas that allow a character to not ICly want to attend the club. How do some of those sound? --Tai 22:46, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
