Nav Links

You can reformat the main nav links a little bit so they don't include the "out of wiki" link arrow on half of them:

News | Characters | Locations | Events and Storylines | Guilds and Groups | Stories | Misc. | Tutorial

There are similar links all over the wiki that use the full linking format when they don't necessarily need to. It's a bit of a pet peeve of mine when it comes to wikis, because it breaks the "What links here" tool. --Seven 20:03, 3 July 2006 (BST)

PvP Server Wiki

Very interesting to see a wiki set up for a PvP server. I imagine that moderating such a thing would be difficult at times.

I'm willing to help out the Wiki by providing editing and polish for entries, now that I have the time to do so - grammarical errors are a pet peeve and the lack of italics and such really throw the stylistics of a story for a bit of a loop. I've little to no experience working with this format, and i'm having to experiment rather heavily to get it sorted.

Current Events

Help other WoW Wikis

I've come into this wiki by chance and find some good info here. It's been a nice WoW wiki on Wikia so, and i think some other Wikis devoted to the great game deserve more attention. If your'e interested in helping out on top of staying in here, please go try edit on:

• Thorium Brotherhood - Most popular WoW wiki, for the Thorium Brotherhood Server.
• World of Warcraft- Database for anything regarding WoW.
• The Doom Brigade- Editable version of the The Doom Brigade Guild Charter and Policy manual.
• Order of the Living- Wikia used by the OOTE guild, to register people for upcoming guild-events.

Thank you for the links to other wikis on the Wikia network, Ericwan. It is good to see that the WoW network is growing.

I do argue that claiming the Thorium Brotherhood server's wiki is the "most popular" is a very impolite statement to bring to another server's site, especially when the wiki you place such a statement on is equally large and maintained. I'm not sure whether to take what you said as a challenge or an insult.

I think I'll count it as the former. *grin*

To the ER community, I suggest that our members look over the linked wikis and return with ideas to contribute to our community's site. After all, the ER Wiki can always benefit from attention, as well! Entire networks of pages with information about guilds, roleplay groups, and concepts may be easily linked and maintained within the Earthen Ring Wiki. Before turning elsewhere, let us focus on our own home and make it the best possible representation of our server.

Yet another

Just to inform you that the European Steamwheedle Cartel Server also has it's own wiki here. I must admit, I originally 'took' the idea from the EU Earthen Ring realm forums, so I'm rather surprised they only just started. Ours has been working for months. It's a a bit more disorganised and has a less flashy presentation, but what can you expect when there is only one regular admin (me)?
