Physical Description[edit | edit source]
Though her form seems fae and frail, there is a fierceness to her eyes to dispel such illusions. Her skin is pale, a soft hue of alabaster, which sometimes looks severe in contrast to the long strands of dark crimson that frame her face. Her carriage is always regal. Her expression is usually blank. She has that ageless beauty of her people, and seems to exude an aura of nobility, though she never has never made mention of any title.
Personality[edit | edit source]
Many times she seems oblivious to the world around her, and there is a distance in her idle gaze that warns of a mind sunk deep into itself, pondering the complex, the profound, or the mysterious. If you can draw her from her own thoughts, she speaks softly, in a detached kind of way, unless you manage to draw a compelling emotion from her. Then you will find her words quite bold, and her attentiveness quite rapt. If that emotion is anger, you might find yourself quite on fire.
She finds it difficult to interact with most people, shrinks away from crowds, and rarely reveals much of herself. A mask of social etiquette is worn always. She will bow gracefully to nobility, and just as gracefully to the thuggish unwashed. She will call you Sir, Madam, Lady or Lord, regardless of your station in life, and is loathe to call anyone by anything so informal as their first name unless she has absolutely no other name to call you, or you have done something to earn her scorn.
She is a mage through and through. Her true love is the wisdom of the ages. Books and tomes, papers and lectures, with a particular passion for arcane languages. Want to win a friend? Bring her a book written in a language she can't translate and she will hug you joyfully before disappearing entirely, not emerging again until the book is translated and she has another language to add to her list of proficiencies.
Beneath the surface lies ambition. It presents itself so subtly that even she does not often see it for what it is. Her draw towards power and glory is an ever-present tug on her restless heart, but she rarely regards it as such, instead crediting a need for purpose as her motivation.
