|Nicknames||Ru, Ruru, Bearer of the Purple Pants|
Background[edit | edit source]
Not much is known about Ruarc’s past prior to his training in the Valley of Trials. The orc ascertains that before that, his life was confined to studying under his master Tul’gais in one of the high peaks of Kalimdor (He doesn’t know which). He never took part in any of the major wars because of the seclusion in his shamanistic training and was kept from most its struggle and events.
Once Tul’gais decided it was time for Ruarc to finish the part of his tutelage that required him to stay near his master, he drugged the young orc. Ruarc awoke in a cart in south Durotar near the entrance to the Valley of Trials. There, he would begin his next phase of learning that would prepare him for his journeys to come.
Personality[edit | edit source]
Ruarc carries a certain duality to his nature, on one side he is viewed as a source of wisdom and enlightenment, knowledgeable in many fields of study and a patient listener. However, these are also contrasted with his obvious lack of social growth at having been away from interaction with others for much of his life. His mannerism can sometimes turn to having a childish intention and making fun as well as having certain aloofness to certain tasks. He is easily distracted and has much difficulty staying focused on numerous tasks, it becomes very difficult for him to carry about a conversation with someone if the person isn’t standing in front of him, as he will put his mind on something else and forget to answer altogether.
Appearance[edit | edit source]
At the range where he can’t be considered tall or short for his race, he stands at about the average height of an orc. His rigorous training has blended well with his orc physique, being well muscled accompanied with a large frame. His divided beard is well kempt while keeping his chin completely shaved. As the usual case for his heritage, the front of his scalp is devoid of hair yet toward the back he has long hair that he half lets loose and half reigns with a traditional warrior topknot.
