Biography[]
Stocky and broad even by dwarf standards; Olfgrim Siegehammer is a veteran warrior well past middle-age. Though he no longer serves in the active military he still maintains the disciplined life of a soldier.
His long gray hair is always pulled back into a ponytail, while his equally long beard is often tucked into his belt. Light copper eyes are framed by his soft facial features. Though often cheerful and outspoken he is still a dwarf at heart and has trouble not taking everything serious and to the point.
Military Career[]
Second War: Served as a foot soldier in defense of Khaz Modan. Was disinguished several times for valor in battle. Most notable was the single-handed slaying of a Horde commander; this action served to rout a flanking attack and buy time for reinforcement.
Third War: Olfgrim again served as a soldier, this time on the foreign soil of Lordearon. He speaks little of the horrors he saw during this campaign.
Current: Due to his dedication to Khaz Modan and the Alliance, Olfgrim has attained the title of Mountain King (Thane). He is the first of his clan to hold this prestigious title.
Family[]
The name Siegehammer is a small and minor family within Ironforge, having only existed since the War of the Three Hammers.
Skardin Siegehammer (grandfather): Took part in the War of the Three Hammers and was slain in combat around Grim Batol. Married to Elrika.
Thoramin Siegehammer (father): Stone worker and tradesman. Died of natural causes shortly before the Dark Portal was opened. Married to Borrina who also died of natural causes around the same time.
Throngul Siegehammer (uncle): Blacksmith and weapon-crafter. Resides in Ironforge.
Bergrom Siegehammer (brother): 10 years younger, he was part of the Alliance Expedition and has not been heard from since the portal was reopened. Married to Katadina and has one daughter named Varaluna.
Lokfina Siegehammer (wife): Older than Olfgrim by close to 40 years she was slain during the Second War by orcs while retreating to the safety of Ironforge. She was unable to bear children.
