Mavanah Silverleaf

Nothing much sticks out about this particular elf, except for her height, but she's merely as tall as most of the kaldorei men. A tiger is always at her side, constantly reffered to as Mea, or Mr. Escape Artist, or sometimes a white bear named Cuddles. She always seems to wear a belt, no matter the outfit, on one side a bag is tied to the belt, a chicken casually resting there, usually peaking out of the bag. She reffers to this as Cindy. On the other side of her belt, is an odd staff. It is shaped like a root, and extends to about the middle of her calf. An emerald is embedded to the top of it. She's always wearing purple lipstick, and that's as far as her oddities go.

Appearence

Personality

Outwordly, she is friendly, often waving at her friends or cheerfully greeting them on the streets. She often jokes with the people she knows, sometimes rather bluntly, but in general she is easy to get along with. She is an opptimist, trying to keep other's spirits up, often at the cost of some thinking her childish. She shrugs those people off. The cost of being thought childish is well worth her friends not being lost to despair. Otherwise she often hovers between seriousness and joking, though will easily switch to one side depending on what the oppurtunity needs. She is thoughtful, often trying to compare other's experiances with her own, as to gain a better understanding of them. She is very open minded, and is also not afraid to voice her opinions, much to the despair of several druids who were with Fandral when it came to talking about Teldrassil, which she veiws as an unjust, selfish act of nature. She is naturally a very caring person, and is very loyal to those she cares about. There is an amount of uncertainty about her, barely visible unless doing something important. She hates screwing up.

History

Before the Orcs

Mavanah was always the one who did the unexpected. She was a surprise from the day she was born, as her parents, Falanir and Malahe, had not expected twins. She was born a full 20 minutes after her older and identical sister, Delinah, and named Mauv'anah. Since they were born during the Long Vigil, they found themselves as the only children in Nighthaven at the time, and thus stuck together, quickly becoming best friends since they could run around and play. When they were about four (By human standards), her mother was again with child, this time there were no surprises when her little sister Makai entered the world. It was around this time she first picked up tailoring, helping her mother sew a few things for her new sibling, and would stick with tailoring forever since.

The three were insepretable, and often chased eachother around the forests of Moonglade, in a never ending game of tag. One day they stopped, when they found a strange path, one each would have sworn was not there yesterday. They entered the strange place, an empty glade surrounded by trees. They named this place 'Mod Shari' (Roughly 'Our Place' in Darnassian). This place instantly became sacred to them, and they set up three rules: Tell no one where it is, No fighting, should at some point in their life they be seperated without knowing where eachother are, they were to meet here. So far that last one has not happened. This was also where they develeoped 'Sister's code of Honor' meaning, they would never tell eachother's secrets to anyone else.

Then, the three sisters grew up. The only thing they had ever differed on in their life, was what path they were to follow. Their father, Falanir, taught them the way of weapons, stating 'I do not care which path either of you will eventually choose. I will not let my girls be unable to defend themselves'. Makai eventually did follow Falanir down the path of a warrior, almsot instantly coming to love the art of fighting. Delinah chose a more peaceful route, becoming a priestess of Elune as soon as she was old enough to become a novice. Mavanah however, knew her path was with neither of these. Ever since she was a small child, she knew she had wanted to become a druid, though she kept this to herself, and let the others think she would walk the road of a warrior or a hunter, as she was skilled with all weapons, yet was a friend to all animals. Of course, this lead to many times of being bored, where she often sewed, or went to Mod Shari.

On one of these trips to Mod Shari, she encountered Cenarius, surprising her with the remark that her favorite tree (Which she also happened to be sitting in) was a treant. After allowing her to find herself (With his sudden appearence and remark about the treant, she was so startled she had fallen out of tree) he said they he had often heard herself and her sisters talking, and knew of her wish to be a druid, and offered to teach her. Mavanah readily accepted.

A few years later, the druids woke up for the War of the Shifting Sands, she met many of those who had inspired her to become a druid in the first place, amound these, Malfurion Stormrage himself. He even briefly helped Cenarius teach her the lessons during the War. She had been a quick learner, her strong point being the feral arts. For indeed, she even taught herself one form, the raven, which is obviously not in the stanard druid vocabulary of shapeshifting. She refused to take the mantle of 'Claw' or 'Talon'. When the druids next went to Dream, Cenarius thought Mavanah to have come along enough far enough to join them. So she did.

750 years later, she awoke. She was alone, she knew something was wrong. She tried several times to reenter before givign up, finally figuring Ysera or Elune had reason to cast her out. Still unnerved, she returned home, first paying a visit to Cenarius. He to was confused. But they let it go, and she often visited him. She spent time with her sisters as she could, but still in the back of her mind, she thought about it.

Something else unusual happened, one day a few months before the orcs were spotted in Ashenvale, she went completely feral. She was practicing with her sister, Makai, Mavanah had been in cat form, Makai with the traditional Kaldorei glaive. Mavanah fealt something entering her mind, litterly pushing her to the back of it, as it took over her body, and visiously attacked her sister, nearly killing her, until her father managed to force her out of it. Frightened, shocked and confused at what happened, she quickly healed Makai, on the brink of tears until she knew her sister was okay. Falanir knew somethign was wrong, by the face of his middle child, but would not question it. He learned through many frustrating years that it was the wrong way to approach any of his kids. She immeadiently went to Cenarius, that was twice he had been baffled by one of his best students.

She never shook off that event, and from that day her confidence was shattered into many different pieces, which she will probably not find for a long time to come yet. She tries not to refer to, what she calls 'Her biggest screw up' unless it absolutely cannot be avoided.

Orc Invasion and Present

Mavanah was still technically a druid, though her offensive spells were mediocre at best, and neither was her concentration. She refused to be pigeon-holed into becoming a healer, as much as she liked it. She took up the bow and befriended an owl named Anya. When the orcs invaded, she and Delinah were sent to Ashenvale to help with the threats. Mavanah was also there when Cenarius was murdered by the orcs. She was crushed by the death of her mentor, and wanted to personally deliver death to the one she noticed seemed to be leading them. She probably would of murdered Grom if he had not killed Mannoroth (Of course, she doesn't know this happened).

At the Battle for Mt. Hyjal, she fought diligently, and upon teaming up with the orcs and humans, started to forgive them. This was mostly due to Cassilla, a troll mage, who, despite her use of the arcane and was affiliated with those she hated, proved herself to be a worthwhile companion Mavanah. They fought side by side, Mavanah using both her arrows and an occaisinal spell, Cassilla relying mainly on frost magic. When the kaldorei camp was overrun, they were forced behind the enchanted gates. Somehow, exhausted, they made it out of the way, and a had a clear veiw of the peak. Mavanah was in awe as she watched Malfurion brought on the power of Nordrassil, and the power of the wisps. However, a fire formed from this, and would have been overwhelmed, had Cassilla not thrown a sort of magical shield over the two of them. Later they were found and returned to camp.

She only moved to Teldrassil because her family wanted to keep tabs on Fandral Staghelm, weary of him ever since the incident in the War of the Shifting Sands. She hates this tree with a passion, and would not miss it if it fell. However, her sister was chased out, upon accidently stumbling upon a group of people and know knew 'to much information'. Mavanah quickly gave pursuit, which lead her all over the world, such as oddly to the Echo Islands, where she found Mea as a cub, escapign from a hunter who had killed his mother. She named the crafty tiger Mr. Escape Artist as a result. She raised the cub, and Lonnie, an old Nightsaber she had befriended helped. It took a few years, but she found her sister in Elwynn, and after a course of events, Delinah returned to the safety of Darnassus to be with the rest of their family. It was when she first left she changed her went under the name of Mavanah instead of her birthname, Mauv'anah. She now uses her mother's last name, but will not reveal the one she had used up until then. It is unknown why.

Since then, she has joined the Silver Dawn, and was eventually promoted to Templar, working to help bring new members into the guild. She is famous amoung the members and ex-members for her habit of doodling on people with purple lipstick. She has pictures of all of them, thanks to a strange gnomish picture capturing device. Indeed, it's earned her the nickname of 'Night Doodler' from several members. Her life has generally been well, helping her guildmates with all sorts of things, leaving the memories of her biggest screw up behind. She also seems to be hiding from the Cenarian Circle, not showing her face around them, using Mavanah Silverleaf, who has become as much as her identity as her alter ego. It is not for sure why she chose to do this, but could be assumed she does not want them approaching with offers to help, and isntead wants to do it herself and surprise them.

Other then that, her family is finally catching up to her. Delinah and Makai have started traveling out into the world, along with her mother, and her father seems to run off on his own buisness, probably flower picking, quite frequently. She has also met many friends, amoung them: Khala, Askari, Doku, Cubrick, and her love, Nighthawlk. Khala, Askari, and Doku she has not heard from in ages, and worries about them. Cubrick seems to have come back, though something about him unsettles Mavanah. Nighthawlk, too, was gone for upwards of seven months, was back for three days, much to Mav's relief, although he is back out again, thus again she worries. But other then that, her life has been going well, and has recently even begun working on druidism again, feeling as if it would be a mockery to her mentors if she did not.

Note: If you see a Mauvanah in game, that is the same character as this one, so if you know one, you know the other. Mauvanah is her working again on her druidicness, since she won't give it up.
