The Laughing Jester
Located in the Stormwind Park, the Laughing Jester provides a pleasant, casual roleplaying environment in a bar/restaurant atmosphere. Originally run by Dominik and the Jesters, and now under the management of Asherrean, Calithos, and Remia, the environment caters to many people in the RP scene, both casual and serious. People looking to enjoy RP interaction can stop by the Jester most evenings and be greeted by staff.

The Jester is located on the south side of the Stormwind Park. It is the large building with the mailbox in front.

Most people that wore the Jesters guild tag also worked at the Jester. There were a few exceptions to this (most notably Towan and Hygeia).
Events[]
The Laughing Jester occasionally holds events that the entire server RP community is welcome to attend.
In addition, the staff of the Jester is willing and happy to work with you to provide services such as bartending for your own events and parties that you wish to hold. Please contact Asherrean, Calithos, or Remia by in-game mail if you are interested in hosting your own events!

Dominik and the Jesters[]
In mid 619, a traveling performer by the name of Dominik disbanded his troupe in order to establish the Laughing Jester. For almost two years, Dominik and his troupe operated the place holding semi-regular events and parties to attract attention and build reputation with the orgnaizations within Stormwind. This led to the Jester being one of the hallmark gathering places for heroes of the Alliance.
The Closing of the Jester[]
Since October of 620, the Laughing Jester was sold to new owners and given a new name. The previous proprietor, Dominik, has not shown himself to the public ever since his announcement of ownership transferrance.
The Times Between[]
For nearly a year, the bar's deed passed from group to group. The crowds diminished, and many of the regulars vanished from the public eye. At several points there were conflicting claims to the building and more then a few brawls started over who would be serving beer to whom.
The Refounding of the Jester[]
In late 621, after a long and torrid affair with the government of Stormwind, Calithos, Remia, and Asherrean managed to acquire a deed to the now unused building. Each was quite set on the need of a gathering place for the Alliance community to promote collaboration between what seemed to be a good many completely insular groups.
