Physical Description[]
Poxsore stands tall and broad, without the trademark slouch that is common to most Forsaken. A meticulously kept black ponytail sits at the back of his head. His eyes are lively with cynical humour, though his usual facial expression gives him the appearance of being generally approachable. He is commonly dressed in the armour of a high-ranking Scarlet Crusader, and he wears a long, rune-laden claymore across his back.
Personality[]
Prior to his undeath, Poxsore was trained to be a prison guard. As such, he has no issues complying with authority, though now the Tong officers are the only folk he really considers to be true authority figures. Apart from that, he is pleasant to be around, though possessed with a somewhat dark and cynical sense of humour. He is also prone to bouts of introspectiveness, but has no qualms about discussing what he has on his mind with people who he feels are trustworthy. Since becoming an officer with the Grey Tiger Tong, he often finds himself being more stern than he is used to with the newer recruits.
History[]
Born the son of the village butcher in Brill, Joseph had a typically peasant upbringing in his early years. As a young teenager, he grew tall and thickened out quickly, prompting his father and mother to invest a large sum of saved earnings to send him to train to be part of the City Watch. Unfortunately, such a fate wasn't in the cards for Joseph and he was quickly assigned to be trained as a Prison Guard, a post that was considerably less prestigious than the one his parents had wanted for him. He managed to keep the truth of his training a secret from them right until Brill was stricken with the Plague, at which point the two of them died, never to return as Scourge or Forsaken. Joseph himself was one of the later men to die, and after returning to unlife, he took the name Poxsore, and operated as a mercenary until being found by Krelle and recruited into the ranks of the Grey Tiger Tong. He has since been appointed to the rank of Vanguard and serves as Krelle's right hand.
Poxsore became the target of a geis by a powerful demon, a kind of "fel battery" as he called it, which led to the interest of the agents of the lich king. Poxsore was abducted and forced to serve as a death knight before being freed in Mograine's rebellion. He returned immediately to the Tong and continues to serve as Krelle's right hand.
