Deggar is a little worse for wear since rising from the dead. It is suspected that he is missing his lower jaw, which is why he always wears a red bandana, covering the lower half of his face. He has lost all his hair and his eyes are mere sockets now.
Deggar is quiet as the grave. Don't expect long conversations with him. It's hard when you're missing that half of your face.
Arnon fancied himself a quite skilled assassin. He was good, knew his skill and once a deal was made he always got the job done on time. He did dabble in other arts such as espionage, robbery, and occasionally protection, but his specialty was killing. He would work for whoever had the funds required for his services. He never let a job get personal and didn’t care who he killed, as long as he was paid.
This would all change, when a hit went wrong. He was hired to kill a family living near Lordaeron, finding out only after he arrived at the family’s house that it was his family. Evidently, someone had tricked him. Upon entering the house, he found that everyone had been murdered. Lost in pain and anguish for his parents and his sister, he let his guard down. As he was sobbing over his mother’s corpse, still spewing fresh blood, the assassin took the opportune moment to stab Arnon in the back.
When Arnon woke up, some unknown time later, the world around him was pitch black. He didn’t know what was going on and started to panic. He started squirming around when suddenly dirt started falling around him. He suddenly knew he had to start digging, and dug his way out of the ground only to realize he had just dug out of his own grave. He reached behind him and pulled a dagger out of his back, the same dagger he was stabbed with when he was huddled over his mother. He stared at it, suddenly realizing what happened. His family was gone, his life was gone, and everything about him had died.
According to the walking corpse near by, Arnon had been buried a long time ago, presumed long gone by his fellow Forsaken. Arnon suddenly realized he couldn’t remember the tricks and trades of being an effective assassin anymore, apparently death and time had eroded his memory. All he could do was stare at the dagger, realizing this was a completely new life and he couldn’t afford to make any mistakes like in the past one. The last vestige of his past life was his name, but he couldn’t have any taint follow him into his new life so he threw aside his name, starring at the dagger, decided to call himself Deggar.
