Blood of the Rose is the Horde-side sister guild of Templars of the Rose. Under the guidance of guild leader Marshal Kanohu Mansain and his consul, [[Falithos Duskwalker| Ambassador Falithos Duskwalker]], The guild still remains small but still maintains a political presence within the Horde.

The Blood of the Rose came together after Althwyn Wildsabre, Commander of the Templars, began journeying to Horde lands to spread the message of peace. Over time, a number of the Horde became intensely interested and eager to assist in the goal of peace, and the Blood of the Rose was born.

Though a smaller movement than the Templars at present, the Blood of the Rose strives to spread the message of peace between both factions as their sister guild does. They work to establish and maintain relationships between both Horde and Alliance folk alike, and have several allies among both. Through the Templars, they are loosely allied with Echelon Militia, and are also currently allied with the Tears of Draenor working towards an alliance with House Emberfall.

Blood of the Rose roleplay consists of both ingame and guild forum RP, and alternates between storyline and freeform RP. The IC base of Blood operations is currently Silvermoon City, though the guild is presently seeking headquarters elsewhere, likely to be based in one of the neutral cities such as Ratchet, but possibly also Orgrimmar to be nearer to the Templars' home base of Theramore.

Requirements for roleplay in the Blood is thus: interest. Blood recruitment will consider anyone willing to roleplay within Warcraft, and the current member roster consists of roleplayers of all types and levels of experience. The objective is to roleplay, have fun and to enhance the roleplay as a server. However, some rules and restrictions apply to characters due to Blood's '''Neutral Good''' status. Players are asked to be forward about their character's alignment before joining the Blood, though in certain cases allowances were permitted for the sake of RP development. The best thing to do is to ask!

The Blood of the Rose fought keenly alongside their Templar allies to rid Azeroth of the Burning Legion, and where they find demonkind still, they continue that fight. At length they will be traveling to Outlands to help both Alliance and Horde reclaim those lands once and for all.

The Blood is continuing to assist Templar efforts against the Lich King, though the goals of both guilds are now threatened after the events at the Wrath Gate. Accused of treason, Commander Althwyn Wildsabre has been imprisoned for treason after she defied the king; her fate is yet unknown. Ambassador Falithos is presently working diligently to find a way to keep her from being hanged, but there is no way of knowing whether or not his or the Templars' efforts will be successful.

Currently, the recruitment officers for Blood of the Rose are Kanohu (guild leader) and Falithos Duskwalker. One may ICly or OOCly approach any Blood member with interest in joining the guild. It is highly encouraged to roleplay with existing Bloods to not only get to know them in character, but out of character as well.

In order to be recruited into the Blood, a player must go through both an in character as well as out of character interview. The OOC interview tends to occur before the IC interview through ingame whispers, and is treated like a "get to know" questionnaire. The IC interview occurs "in person" ingame, and tends to involve a previously decided set of questions regarding the character's goals, interest in Blood and future endeavors.
